Apple and blueberry compote
Discover this new recipe from “Yo sí que como”: apple and blueberry compote. It is indicated for people with mental fatigue as it stimulates the immune system and provides vitamins from the B group which are essential for the nervous system. Go ahead, try it!
- 3 apples
- 200 gr fresh blueberries
- 3 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 cinnamon stick
Begin by placing the three apples, peeled and chopped in a pot. Add the cinnamon, syrup and half the blueberries and simmer, over low heat, until the fruit is soft. Remove the cinnamon stick and coarsely purée the fruit. Lastly, decorate with the remaining blueberries.
