Fashion designer and architect, investigator of organic materials and integral recycling. Her work contemplates the interplay between ways of dressing and the new social and cultural visions of the 21st century.
INSTALLATION
A second skin that shows us the agitation and convulsions of anxiety, but also the human metamorphosis from the perspective of pain and frustration, a second skin as a form of protection and a way of escaping to other emotions.
Technique and materials:
Body shape interpreted with organic biomaterials, natural and recycled elements. Craftmanship and 3D printing.

Confusion
BOA MISTURA
Multidisciplinary team with its roots in graffiti (2001, Madrid). Its work is mostly developed in the public space, at the crossroads of graphic design, architecture and mural painting.
INSTALLATION
A series of prisms that form a labyrinth where visitors can wander through the sections.
A walk between the boundaries of confusion and the discovery of the exit, through a startling comprehension of the lived experience.

Hope
JOAN FONTCUBERTA
Artist, teacher, essayist, critic, and curator and disseminator of Spanish art, specialising in photography, uses his installations to reflect on the society in constant change of the 21st century.
INSTALLATION
Eighteen thousand photographs taken in recent months document a hopeful perspective of humans. Close-ups of the facial geography of 18,000 individuals, a series of unique features with a unifying effect.
Technique and materials:
Photography montage 8 metres wide and 3 metres tall.

Serenity
ANTONI AROLA
Designer of a series of light fixtures that have gone on to become classics in Spanish design history. In recent years, he has ventured into lighting experimentation through sophisticated installations and urban projections.
INSTALLATION
‘Reflexions’ is an experimental series that evokes spaces with ‘holographic’ effects to transfigure the surrounding atmosphere. The gentle and subtle rhythm of the shapes in movement transports the visitor to a sensation of calm and serenity.
Technique and materials:
Tulle fabric, radial spotlights, motor, and steel plates.

MAYICE
Architects and designers Marta Alonso and Imanol Calderón create immersive lighting atmospheres, light fixtures, and ethereal living spaces suffused with poetry.
INSTALLATION
Two separate transparent pieces set in opposition representing the fragility and laxity of human suffering during the process of sadness.

Glass blown at the Royal Glass Factory in La Granja, Segovia.

Fear
IADE
Prestigious Spanish design school in operation for over 60 years. Student Sofía Bonilla designed and spearheaded the entire creative process, assisted by fellow students Paula Calero and Lola Bourboin. Marisa Santamaría commissioned the project with the selected design talents.
INSTALLATION
Human-sized organic space in the form of a spiral that a person can enter briefly and then exit. It represents a transition from fear to other possible emotions.
Technique and materials:
Completely handcrafted execution. The materials include ‘medula’ vegetable fiber, mycelium, and virgin merino wool.lana virgen merina.

Digital creator in the space where architecture, interior spaces, and everyday objects converge. Author of surreal and evocative settings situated on the line between the digital and the physical spatial vision.
INSTALLATION
Recurring images in movement that enclose the viewer in a tunnel that leads them to the stressful sensation of guilt. The real and physical connection is an armchair (collaboration with JOQUER) as a symbol of an intimate refuge in which to take shelter, rediscover oneself, emerge from the darkness.
