At Solán de Cabras, we want to live in harmony with nature, and we’re committed to taking care of it by working to promote the circular economy now and forever. That’s why we want to protect the environment and our natural mineral water’s purity, and for it to always reach you in the most sustainable way possible.
Since 2021 and always, at Solán de Cabras we’re committed to making all our bottles 100% from other bottles.
Recycled plastic is more sustainable because it avoids the consumption of virgin raw materials and reduces our carbon footprint.
Since 2017, we have saved 17,800 tonnes of virgin plastic, the equivalent of 4,200 football pitches.
We have reduced our carbon footprint by 34.8%. Which is equivalent to the CO2 emissions offset by 3,400,000 trees.

WHY IS RECYCLED PLASTIC USEFUL?
Avoids the consumption of virgin raw materials. Reduces the carbon footprint by emitting less CO2 to the atmosphere. Keeps plastics from coming into contact with nature. Provides a second use for plastics, helping to generate a circular economy (in line with the European Union’s 2030 strategy). Supports the Solán de Cabras commitment to sustainability. Demonstrates a real result of disposing of plastics in the yellow recycling bin and helps to raise awareness of the importance of recycling at home.
FOR AN UNSPOILED SPRING FOR ANOTHER 3,600 YEARS
We serve as custodians of the spring by protecting the water to ensure another 3,600 years of natural mineral water. To do so, we take care of its surroundings and extract a tiny percentage of water.
PACKAGING AS CIRCULAR AS NATURE
We are working on packaging that respects nature to bring our natural mineral water to you. We use bottles made 100% from other bottles and infinitely recyclable packaging.
CONSERVING WATER WHILE CONSERVING NATURE.
We are working on innovations to reduce the carbon footprint of our packaging. Since 2017, we have reduced CO2 by 34.8%, which is equivalent to the emissions offset by 3,400,000 trees.
SUSTAINABLE TRANSPORT OF THE WATER FROM OUR SPRING
Every drop counts. So, we work to ensure that all the purity of our water reaches you in the most sustainable way possible by reducing the emissions associated with its transport.
JUST AS WATER CARES FOR LIFE, WE CARE FOR PEOPLE
We collaborate with the AECC to improve the emotional well-being of cancer patients and their family members by donating minutes of counselling. We also provide support by donating to Fesbal.
THE WATER CYCLE IS INFINITE, AND WE WANT IT TO STAY THAT WAY
We conduct awareness campaigns to promote recycling. We also partner with Ecoembes to improve resource management and are working day after day to get to zero waste at the spring.
